VBSY promotes service to underserved rural masses as IEC campaign reaches 6 Pyts of Reasi district

REASI, DECEMBER 06: The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) on Wednesday  traversed across six Panchayat Halqas of Chassana, Thuroo, Panthal and Bhomag blocks of the Reasi district  leaving a significant impact  on the participants.

The   Channa A, Neasi, Matlote, Manoon, Bhagat and Lamsora Panchayats witnessed a vibrant assembly of local residents. Government officials engaged with the community, raising awareness about various schemes and fostering interaction with beneficiaries.

As part of the “Meri Kahani, Meri Zubaani” initiative, beneficiaries shared their firsthand experiences with different schemes, creating a platform for knowledge exchange. The event featured drone and soil health card demonstrations, along with health camps providing on-the-spot services in all Panchayats.

The focus of the Yatra extended to Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) activities across all Panchayats in the block. Flagship schemes, including PM KISAN, Vishwakarma, Suraksha Bima Yojna, Jeevan Jyoti, Ayushman Bharat, Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana, Jan Dhan Yojana, PM Awas Yojana, JJM, Poshan Abhiyaan, and numerous other welfare, employment, and income generation initiatives were prominently highlighted.

Massive participation was observed from the local community, Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs), prominent citizens, and officials representing various government departments.
