VBSY Van reaches Aithem and Chilla, spreads PM Modi’s vision for developed India

NAGROTA, DECEMBER 14: The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra rolled into Panchayats Aithem and Chilla in Nagrota block today, bringing the message of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the residents. 

Shalini Raina, Block Development Officer, warmly welcomed the specially equipped van, accompanied by officers from various departments. Sarpanches Shoba Rani and Krishan Singh, along with panches and other dignitaries, also graced the occasion.

The VBSY Van, a mobile outreach initiative, aims to share Prime Minister Modi’s vision for a developed India by 2047. A video message from the PM urged the audience to pledge their commitment to the nation’s progress. The event resonated with this call, as attendees readily took the “Sankalp” oath.

Vibrant cultural performances by students of Government Middle School Aithem and Government Chilla filled the air with enthusiasm. Songs, dances and skits showcased the talent of the young generation, receiving warm applause from the audience.

Various departments set up stalls to inform residents about various welfare schemes. Pamphlets and brochures provided detailed information, while officials readily answered questions and clarified doubts.

The event also offered practical benefits. Free health checkups under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana were conducted. Certificates of appreciation were awarded to progressive farmers for their contribution to agriculture. Additionally, deserving applicants received on-the-spot sanction letters for old age, widow and disability pensions.
