Vehicle lifter arrested, stolen scooty recovered in Beerwah, Budgam

In a significant breakthrough, the Budgam Police have arrested a notorious vehicle lifter identified as Shakeel Azad Lone, son of Azad Hussain Lone, hailing from Beerwah.

The arrest was made during the investigation of Case FIR No 53/2022, under section 379 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), which was being handled by the Khanyar Police Station.

During the arrest, the police also managed to recover a stolen scooty that had been reported missing in connection with the ongoing case.

The recovery of the stolen vehicle is expected to bring a sense of relief to its owner and serve as evidence in the legal proceedings against Shakeel Azad Lone.
