Vehicular movement to remain suspended on Jammu-Srinagar NH in view of repair work

JAMMU June 03: J&K Traffic Police has declared urgent repair and maintenance works on NH44 between Ramban and Banihal for the intervening night of June 3rd and 4th, 2024. Consequently, all types of vehicular movement, including perishable goods and livestock, will be suspended today, June 3rd, 2024. From Qazigund towards Ramban, no vehicular movement will be allowed after 6 pm, while from Nagrota (Jammu) and Udhampur, movement will cease after 5 pm and 6 pm respectively. Commuters are strongly advised to refrain from traveling on NH-44 until the maintenance work is completed.
