BJP to form next Govt. in J&K: Vibodh
Jammu and Kashmir BJP J&K General Secretary and Former MLC Vibodh Gupta on Friday called on party workers to unite and ensure that the Union Territory gets its first chief minister from the BJP by aiming for a landslide victory in the next assembly elections. “Let’s commit ourselves to this mission, make history together, and form BJP’s govt in J&K” he added.
Speaking at series of meetings held in Gulabgarh Constituency, Mata Vaishno Devi and Reasi constituencies, Vibodh expressed confidence that with the overwhelming support of people for the BJP, the Union Territory is poised to enter a new era of peace, progress, and comprehensive development through a decisive BJP victory in the upcoming assembly elections. He was accompanied by Senior BJP leader Jangveer Sambhyal and District President Rohit Dubey.
Vibodh asserted that both Jammu province and Kashmir province have been witnessing equitable opportunities for progress and development for the first time post-abrogation of Article 370 after a dark era of terrorism and corruption. He criticized the Congress and the National Conference for allegedly exploiting various sections of the population for vote-bank politics.
Appreciating the landmark decision of the J&K Administrative Council to approve the proposal for the transfer of evacuees’ land, conferring proprietary rights to the displaced persons of 1947, 1965, 1971, and West Pakistan displaced persons, Vibodh highlighted that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and LG Manoj Sinha, Jammu and Kashmir has achieved unprecedented progress and prosperity for all its people, regardless of caste, religion or region.
Senior BJP leader Jangveer Sambhyal, in his address, urged party workers to dedicate themselves wholeheartedly to the upcoming assembly elections, emphasizing the importance of securing a victory. He asserted that the BJP enjoys widespread popular support, having successfully addressed the long-standing, genuine demands of every segment of society. Sambhyal encouraged the party cadre to highlight the benefits of the various schemes and policies initiated by the BJP government, inspiring voters to support the BJP.
BJP District President Rohit Dubey strongly asserted that the successive governments of Congress, National Conference and PDP have betrayed the people of Jammu and Kashmir, while the BJP has consistently worked to meet their needs and aspirations. He urged everyone to commit fully to the assembly elections, ensuring the BJP’s historic victory and the continuation of this progress.
The party workers were also addressed by Ex-MLAs Ajay Nanda and Baldev Raj Sharma, DDC Chairman Saraf Singh Nag, Former Chairman Municipal Committee, Reasi, Shashi Gupta and Sudesh Puri, Former District President Sheel Magotra, DDC Rajinder Mengi, Kewal Krishan, Rita Devi, Neena Devi, and Abdul Rashid.
