Sanjay Pandey, Vice Principal of KC Public School, attended the Safeguarding
Conference hosted by The British School, New Delhi on March 1, 2025. More than150 delegates from all over the country participated in the conference. It was a groundbreaking event focusing on safeguarding children and was held in partnership with the renowned Safeguarding Alliance based in the UK.

The conference focused on world-class safeguarding practices, aimed specifically at
school leaders, well-being champions and pastoral teams.
The sessions were led by specialists and practitioners from both UK and India who work with governments and organisations across the world and act on an international level to encourage global standards with the aim of driving forward safeguarding excellence. The conference provided valuable insights and innovative strategies, thereby empowering educators to act effectively in safeguarding individuals and communities involved with schools.
KC Public School has already taken the lead to train its teachers in Pastoral Guidance as it is the pressing need in present times. In the endeavour to take care of the mental and emotional well-being of students, sixty teachers of KCPS have already been trained and certified as counsellors in Basic Counselling Skills in the last two years.
Participation of Vice Principal in this conference reflects on KC Public School’s
commitment to prioritizing the safety and security of its students. The VP also availed of the opportunity to engage in discussions and network with other educational leaders from both the UK and India.
