Vigilance Awareness Week: DC Rajouri flags off Mega Walkathon
RAJOURI, NOVEMBER 03: In a resounding display of commitment to eradicate corruption and foster a culture of transparency, Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal today flagged off a mega Walkathon as a part of a variety of activities being organised in the district under the ongoing Vigilance Awareness Week.
The event saw enthusiastic participation of officers and officials representing different government departments. The Walkathon aimed to spread the resounding message, “Say No to Corruption & Commit to Nation,” commenced from the Sports Stadium in Kheora and culminated at the Dak Bungalow in Rajouri, covering a considerable distance symbolizing the journey towards a corruption-free society.
The Deputy Commissioner flagged off the Walkathon with a motivating address emphasizing the importance of integrity, transparency, and accountability in public life. He urged every individual to contribute towards a corruption-free nation, as this is crucial for the overall development and prosperity of the region.
The participants of the Walkathon displayed their unwavering commitment to the cause, carrying banners with slogans promoting ethical conduct and denouncing corruption.
