Vikramaditya pays rich tributes to valiant officers for supreme sacrifice

JAMMU: Vikramaditya Singh, former MLC on Thursday expressed shock and grief over the martyrdom of three Indian brave hearts including a colonel and major of a Rashtriya Rifles unit, and a Deputy Superintendent of Jammu and Kashmir Police during an encounter with terrorists in Anantnag district.

In a statement issued to media persons, the former MLC said that the outcome of the encounter was tragic as the loss is big and shocking.

Paying rich tributes to the brave hearts of the motherland, Vikramaditya Singh extended profound condolences to the families of the martyrs. He said that though the loss of sons of soil in this manner is a big jolt to the country but this cowardice act of enemies of the nation should not deter India from continuing its efforts to ensure peace and development in the region for which it has taken a strong resolve and working on it since long.
