Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra camp organised at Panchayat Halqa Maan Pangong(B) block Durbuk

Leh, Dec 7, 2023: To ensure the saturation of flagship of various government schemes, the ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra’ camp held at Halqa Panchayat Maan Pangong-B of block Durbuk on December 6.

During the event, Councillor Chushul, Konchok Stanzin, officers/ officials from different departments and Branch Manager from JK bank were present. Also, various government departments including JK bank provided the ‘on spot services’ of various government schemes showcasing their flagship schemes at stalls to the beneficiaries of Halqa Panchayat Maan Pangong-B.

The team was welcomed by the Sarpanch, Nambardars, National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM), Self Help Groups members and the general public of Phobrang, Yourgo and Lukung village.

The event started by welcoming the officers headed by SDM Durbuk followed by Viksit Bharat pledge. Audio recording of Prime Minister Narendra Modi was played during the occasion.

Besides, health screening camp was also conducted during the camp.

J&K bank has facilitated swift settlement of insurance claims of deceased Tsering Lhamo who belonged to the Phobrang village. The claims worth Rs 2.00 lakh under Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY) were paid to the Nominee of the deceased customer during the occasion.

Appreciation certificate of 100 percent tap water connection under Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) was handed over to the Sarpanch during the occasion.
