Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra gains Momentous Traction across Rural Kishtwar
KISHTWAR, December 09: The ongoing Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra surged with significant momentum today, covering six panchayats in the rural areas of Kishtwar district.
The Yatra encompassed Panchayat Inderwa-C and Chatroo Lower-B in block Inderwal, Panchayats Ghan and Pora Chandali in block Drabshalla, and Panchayts Gulabgarh and Sohal in block Paddar, spanning across the district.
The enthusiastic response from the community was overwhelming, with a total of 1915 individuals actively engaging in 33 diverse activities conducted within these panchayats,today.
Three IEC Vans traversed the panchayats, disseminating the Prime Minister’s message on Centrally Sponsored Schemes and their effective implementation and impact. Additionally, 24 beneficiaries shared their stories under ‘Meri Kahani Meri Zubani,’ offering insightful narratives about their experiences.
Acknowledging exemplary achievements, 68 women achievers and sports personalities were felicitated in line with the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra’s guidelines.
Furthermore, the Yatra facilitated the seamless saturation of various schemes in these panchayats, extending immediate services on the spot. Notably, a range of services was provided during the day, including the distribution of 23 Ayushman Golden Cards, issuance of 16 Kisan Credit Cards (KCC) to farmers, and the enrollment of 21 beneficiaries under the PM Ujjwala scheme.
Additionally, the Yatra served as a platform to raise awareness about 49 government schemes through informative gatherings. Health camps held during the Yatra catered to the community’s health needs, screening 158 individuals for TB, 48 for Sickle Cell, and conducting NCD screenings for 236 participants.
The resounding success of this leg of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra showcases its impactful reach and commitment to fostering holistic development and awareness among rural communities.
