Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra inspires thousands in Nagseni blocks  of District Kishtwar

KISHTWAR, December 17: The transformative initiative, Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, on Sunday concluded its journey through Nagseni block, covering all 4 more accessible gram panchayats.

The overwhelming community response, with 1840 individuals actively participating in the Yatra, reflected invaluable support from PRIs, common masses, and field functionaries from across key departments.

Guided by Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Dr. Devansh Yadav, the IEC Van disseminated the Prime Minister’s message about Citizen-Centric Schemes and their effective impact on the masses.

The beneficiaries shared their experiences under ‘Meri Kahani Meri Zubani’, loudly speaking about Yatra’s success in the block.

The impactful journey across 04 Gram Panchayats familiarised the public about 64 rural schemes. Additionally, 15 cultural performances were presented by local artists and students under the “Dharti Kahe Pukar Ke component,” aligning with the Yatra’s spirit.

Recognizing 144 individual achievers, including students and women, the Yatra celebrated their contribution.

The Yatra’s 04 Health Camps addressed community health needs, screening 86 individuals for TB, 23 for Sickle Cell, and conducting NCD screenings of 177 participants.

Facilitating seamless saturation of various schemes, the Yatra offered on-the-spot services and created awareness about government schemes, including Ayushman Bharat Scheme, Jan Dhan, ODF, Digitization of Land Records, and PM Kissan.

Moreover, the concerned department distributed 15 Ayushman Golden Cards among beneficiaries, provided 10 KCC cards to farmers and enrolled 04 beneficiaries online under the PM Ujjwalla scheme.

This leg of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra demonstrated impactful reach and commitment, fostering holistic development and awareness among rural communities at their doorstep. It stands as a testament to dedication in creating a more developed and informed society.
