Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra reaches 6 Panchayts of Warwan, Marwah, Thakrie, and Drabshalla Blocks amid huge public participation
KISHTWAR, December 02: The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) on 4th Day today reached far-flung Panchayats including Panchayat Afti of Warwan block, Panchayat Pethgam of Marwah Block, Panchayat Sarawan and Pakalan of Block Thakrie, as well as Panchayat Balgran and Champti of Block Drabshalla.
Vibrant participation characterized the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra at Thakrie Block in Kishtwar District, wherein IEC vans spread awareness about government schemes also Health camps, Sankalp pledges, and outreach activities were organized there fostering community engagement besides people availed themselves of the on-spot services provided.
Yesterday, the Yatra was enthusiastically welcomed at Panchayat Renai A & Yourdroo of Marwah block, Palmar Upper of Palmar block, and Panchayat Tipri & Kewa of Bonjwah block.
At each respective location, a dynamic mix of events and initiatives unfolded, intertwining stories of empowerment and collective engagement towards a shared vision of national development.
During the ongoing VBSY, locals in these Panchayats received information about different flagship government schemes and initiatives.
Officials and nodal officers organized a session on agricultural activities, including a drone demonstration, and interacted with progressive farmers to discuss organic farming.
Medical camps were held, providing free health services to local people at their doorsteps. Golden Cards and KCC cards were distributed among eligible beneficiaries.
Attendees pledged in line with the vision of Viksit Bharat, aiming to foster India’s development.
In the ‘Meri Kahani Meri Zubani’ activity, successful beneficiaries of different schemes shared their experiences.
Cultural performances, including ‘Dharti Kahe Pukar Ke,’ Swachata songs, etc, were presented by women SHG Members, school students, and local artists at the venues.
The Yatra aims to reach out to the unreached population, making them aware of various government schemes such as the Jal Jeevan Mission, Ayushman Bharat Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana, Jan Dhan Yojana, PM Awas Yojana, PM PRANAM Yojana, and the Urea Subsidy Scheme, along with the process to avail benefits.
The primary objective of this outreach and information dissemination campaign is to empower citizens to become active stakeholders in the country’s development.
