Viksit Bharat@2047′ Conference held in Verinag, Anantnag
ANANTNAG January 21: The District Administration of Anantnag, in collaboration with Government Degree College, Verinag, organized a pivotal one-day conference on “Viksit Bharat@2047: Voice of Youth.” The conference aimed to engage the youth in shaping national plans, priorities, and goals, providing a platform for them to contribute ideas to the visionary initiative of Viksit Bharat-2047, spearheaded by Shri. Narendra Modi, the Honorable Prime Minister of India.
The Conference was held under the patronage of Prof. Nisar Ahmed Dar, Principal Government Degree College, Verinag.The event commenced with Mr. Tawseef Ahmed Parray presenting introductory remarks on “Viksit Bharat-2047.” Prof. Nisar Ahmed Dar officially inaugurated the conference, emphasizing the significance of “Viksit Bharat-2047” for the country’s advancement and highlighting the crucial role of the teaching community and educational institutions in transforming India into a powerful and developed nation by 2047.
Two extension lectures were organized on Viksit Bharat-2047. The first lecture, “Vision India-2047,” was delivered by Dr. Bilal Ahmed Tantray, providing a thorough analysis of the initiative’s potential to transform India’s future. The second lecture, “Role of Students in Viksit Bharat@2047 Agenda,” was delivered by Mr. Naik Qayoom, emphasizing the role of students in nation-building and the importance of acquiring skills.
During the event, students were facilitated and instructed on how to sign up for Viksit Bharat-2047, register, share their ideas, and submit feedback on the MyGov portal. Additionally, the college organized various activities.
The conference concluded with a question-answer session and refreshments served to all guests, participants, and students. The event witnessed a large attendance, with active participation from students and faculty members.
