Village Sanasar emerges as Adarsh Gram in District Ramban
RAMBAN, JULY 26: The village of Sanasar in District Ramban has been officially declared an Adarsh Gram, following the successful completion of a transformative Rs. 20 lakh project under the Pradhan Mantri Adarsh Gram Yojana (PMAGY).
This remarkable achievement underscores a significant milestone in rural development, showcasing the power of collaborative efforts and strategic investments.
The comprehensive project, which included the construction of lane drains, the installation of water tanks, the erection of a prefabricated passenger shed, and the installation of a water cooler, has significantly improved the village’s infrastructure and amenities. These enhancements have not only elevated the quality of life for locals of Sanasar but also set a benchmark for other villages in the region.
“This achievement is the result of collaborative efforts of the local community, government departments, and all other stakeholders, under the visionary leadership of Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary” said the District Social Welfare Officer. “The transformation of Sanasar into an Adarsh Gram demonstrates our unwavering commitment to improving rural infrastructure and ensuring the well-being of our residents. We will continue to work towards similar developmental goals in other parts of the district”, he added.
