Vivek Bali Condemns Demolition of Kashmiri Pandit Shops, Questions JDA’s Intentions

Jammu, November 21 : Vivek Bali Prominent political leader has expressed deep dismay and strong condemnation over the recent demolition of shops run by Kashmiri Pandit migrants in Muthi, Jammu.

The shops, which had been in operation for nearly 30 years, were reportedly demolished by the Jammu Development Authority (JDA) without prior notice or alternative arrangements for the shop owners.

In his statement, Vivek Bali said, “The demolition of shops run by Kashmiri Pandit migrants is deeply unfortunate and raises serious questions about the intentions of the JDA.

If there were legitimate reasons for the removal of these shops, due process should have been followed. Notices should have been issued, and alternative locations should have been provided to the affected individuals. This high-handed approach by the authorities is unacceptable and most condemnable.”

Vivek Bali emphasized the need for compassionate governance and urged the JDA to reconsider its actions. He also called on the administration to immediately provide relief and rehabilitation for the affected shop owners, ensuring their livelihood is not jeopardized.

Bali reiterated his commitment to standing by the Kashmiri Pandit community and all those who face such injustices. He appealed to the government to intervene and prevent further instances of such arbitrary actions.
