BJP OBC Morcha organized Blood donation camp
JAMMU, October 02: BJP OBC Morcha organized Blood donation camp at Government Medical College, Bakshi Nagar Jammu.Dr. Devinder Manyal, Former Minister and General Secretary BJP inaugurated the camp on Gandhi Jayanti and Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayanti.
Sunil Prajapati (State President BJP OBC Morcha), Suresh Salgotra (Vice President BJP OBC Morcha), Ravi Mehra (Vice President BJP OBC Morcha), Ashok Verma (Stare Secretary BJP OBC Morcha), Purushottam kumar (State Social Media Secretary), Sanjay kumar (State Executive Member), Ashok Salgotra (District President BJP OBC Morcha), Parveen Kumar (Vice President District Jammu OBC Morcha), Gopal Sanotra (District General Secretary OBC Morcha), Rakesh Mandal Mandal President Ambhphalla Mandal OBC Morcha), Jai Kishan (District General Secretary Jammu Border) w ere present in the camp.
Dr. Devinder Manyal appreciated the working of the OBC Morcha and said that we commemorated the birth anniversary of Gandhi Jayanti, a peace icon and great personality who has dedicated his entire life to humanity.
“We feel that if we can do our bid to serve the society today, then we are certain that we have done a tribute to Gandhi ji and Shastri ji”, he added.
Dr. Manyal explained further that the blood donation camp itself is an activity that saves a lot of lives as each pint of blood collected saves three lives at a time. He said that here is an urgent need to create awareness especially among youth on Blood Donation as this noble act can help those suffering from life-threatening conditions.
Sunil Prajapati said BJP organized Blood donation camp under sewa Pakhwada. He said every single donation is a precious life saving gift and repeat donation is the key to building a safe and sustainable blood supply.
He said slogan “Give blood, give plasma, share life, share often.” It focuses on patients requiring life-long transfusion support and underlines the role every single person can play, by giving the valuable gift of blood or plasma. It also highlights the importance of giving blood or plasma regularly to create a safe and sustainable supply of blood and blood products that can be always available, all over the world, so that all patients in need can receive timely treatment.
