Week-long Management Development Program under RAMP commences at JKEDI Jammu
JAMMU, APRIL 21: The Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI) today launched a week-long (30-hours) Management Development Program (MDP) at its District Centre, Jammu under the Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) scheme.

The programme was inaugurated by Additional District Development Commissioner Jammu, Sher Singh who emphasized the vital role of entrepreneurship in local economic development and employment generation. He urged the participants to make the most of the program and appreciated JKEDI’s efforts in strengthening the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
District Nodal Officer, JKEDI, Jammu Rajesh Kotwal briefed the participants about the objectives of the World Bank-supported RAMP scheme, which aims to enhance MSME competitiveness through improved market access, digital enablement, skill development, and financial inclusion.
The MDP is being attended by 20 local MSME units and focuses on practical business management skills, operational efficiency, and institutional support. Participants will engage with domain experts and resource persons from relevant departments.
JKEDI Course Team including Monika Salaria, Rupali Choudhary, and Humaira Nazir were also present at the inaugural session.
This initiative is a step towards building a resilient and growth-oriented MSME sector in J&K, in line with the goals of the RAMP scheme.
