Weekly Block Diwas & Public Grievances redressal camp held at CFC Chenani
UDHAMPUR, AUGUST 30: To address the concerns and demands of the public, an outreach program was presided over by Saloni Rai, the Deputy Commissioner of Udhampur at Chenani, today.
The event was held in the Community Facility Centre (CFC) which witnessed an enthusiastic participation of People and PRI Representatives including Parkash Chand, BDC Chairman Sarpanches, Panches, besides ADC Joginder Singh Jasrotia, Assistant Commissioner Development Dr. Ranjeet Singh Kotwal, SDM Parvaiz Naik.
The local populace also took part, highlighting various issues concerning the region.The concerns projected before the Deputy Commissioner encompassed a spectrum of topics such as the upkeep of roads under PMGSY & PWD, the urgency to fill vacant positions in educational institutions, Maintenance of Chenani Pattangarh and other roads, beneficiaries inadvertently left out from the Awaas Plus Yojana, staff shortages in educational establishments, allocation of land for landless individuals, and fair land compensation, among others.
With meticulous attention, the Deputy Commissioner took cognizance of the raised issues, ensuring immediate resolution where possible through direct interventions and directions to the relevant departments.For the remaining concerns, priority will be accorded by allocating budgetary provisions in the best interest of the public, emphasized the Deputy Commissioner.In line with her commitment, the Deputy Commissioner articulated that the decisions made during the public grievance redressal camp will be meticulously followed through, assuring that every demand and requirement is fulfilled for the greater good of the public.
