What is ‘Pro Panja League’ founder Preeti Jhangiani’s first official encounter with action? Actress reveals it all
Preeti Jhangiani is one of the most loved and admired young divas in the Indian entertainment industry and without any element of doubt, she needs no introduction. Apart from being a popular actress who has earlier been a part of successful projects, Preeti has simultaneously achieved success and prosperity as an entrepreneur and all thanks to her vision and love towards sports, Preeti managed to take Indian armwrestling aka ‘panja’ to new heights at the global level. As we all know, ‘panja’ aka ‘armwrestling’ is a lot about ability, speed and most importantly, high-octane action. While Preeti is the successful entrepreneur who’s running the biggest armwrestling league in the country, ever wondered whether she herself got a taste of all this or not? Well, the actress spills the beans herself.
On being asked about whether she ever had any professional association with action and whether she learnt the same professionally or not, Preeti had quite an interesting answer. She reveals and we quote,
“Well, action is something that I have always loved. Although on major occasions, primarily due to my movies, people tend to associate me more with romantic stuff. However, that’s entirely not the case as well. I might be enjoying armwrestling as a viewer today but even I have enjoyed my professional stint with action. I remember training in action for my Telugu films in the past. I also remember learning a lot about the art under Tinu Verma for my film Baaz where I also played a cop. So yes, my own association with action has been quite interesting as well.”
Well, kudos to Preeti for taking things to a new level altogether as far as Indian armwrestling is concerned. She deserves a lot of credit for putting it on the global map and here’s hoping that she continues to do the same successfully going forward. Stay tuned for more updates.
