Whether wear black or white, Cong’s chance to regain lost ground ‘bleak’: Kavinder

JAMMU, March 28: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta today took a jibe at the Congress leaders wearing black clothes protesting against the BJP-led government at the Centre over the disqualification of Rahul Gandhi from the Lok Sabha, saying that the Congress Party will not regain its lost ground whether its leader wear any colour.

In a statement issued here today, Kavinder lashed out at the Congress and accused it of stopping Parliament from functioning. “Congress isn’t letting the house run and is trying to mislead people by making statements. Congress’s leaders came in black clothes in the Parliament. Do they want to disrespect the law, were they justifying the remarks regarding OBCs?” he asked.

The former Deputy Chief Minister reiterated that the move of disqualification of Rahul Gandhi from the Parliament ‘in accordance with law’ as he clarified earlier also that the BJP Government at the Centre has nothing to do with this decision which is purely lawful and as per procedural norms. But the Congress leaders do not understand that they have completely lost the faith of people and will not regain it no matter what they do.

The senior BJP leader said that Congress is a sinking ship which will go down taking along all those who somehow came along with that party which is responsible for all the political mis-happenings in the country since its inception more than a century ago. He said that it is time for the people to watch and compare without any prejudice that what BJP has in offing for them as Congress has not given them anything except deception.
