With participation of over 90,000 people, Vikshit Bharat Sankalp Yatra continues journey across Ramban
RAMBAN, JANUARY 15: The Vikshit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, led by Deputy Commissioner Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary, is making a significant impact in Ramban district. With 90,000 participants, including 35,000 women, the 49-day journey gave a huge push towards saturation of beneficiary oriented-schemes in the district.
Today, the Yatra reached panchayats of Chamalwas Lower B, Tachiwagan, and ward no-5 Kumar Mohalla in Batote town, emphasizing its commitment to inclusivity.
Covering the entire district during the last 49 days, the Yatra has offered a powerful platform for informing the people about various Government schemes. Further, a substantial number of beneficiaries have been sharing stories under Meri Kahani Meri Zubani component of Yatra narrating heart touching stories of change in their lives after taking benefits of centrally sponsored schemes.
Cultural programs celebrated Ramban District’s diverse heritage, enriching its cultural tapestry. The collective oath-taking ceremony at the heart of the Yatra unified the community, symbolizing shared aspirations.
In Batote, Tehsildar Vijay Kumar Sharma inspected stalls set up by CHC, Batote, ICDS Poshan, Punjab & J&K Bank, and other departments. The event included awareness about government schemes and motivational speeches by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Yatra’s success lies in its broad outreach, ensuring the message of the Hon’ble Prime Minister reaches every corner of the district.
