Women Health Scan organized at GCW Gandhinagar
JAMMU May 15: The Health Center Committee of GCW Gandhinagar organized a voluntary women health scan for the preliminary health assessment of hostel residents on 14th of May 2024 in hostel premises to ensure the health and wellness of the students as a new initiative of the college. The activity was carried under the able guidance of Dr. S. P. Saraswat, Principal of the college.
The Women Health Scan was a success in which about 30 students were benefitted .The participants volunteered for the Health scan. Dr. Zenuka, Medical officer (Ayush) carried on the initial health inquiries and health assessment with the clinical findings and provisional diagnosis. This scan aimed at valuable insights into the various aspects of women health and general wellness. The female residents took advantage of this opportunity for their preliminary health assessment. The activity was success only due to the continuous encouragement and support of the principal of the college Dr S.P.Saraswat, who was the guiding force behind the efforts and success of the committee to organize the activity.
Dr Anupama Pandotra, Convener Health Center Committee along with other organizers Prof Nargis Nelofar, Dr Shaista Ajaz and Prof Raheela Mushtaq put their efforts to provide the opportunity to the female students for the preliminary health scan so that they can take care of their health perspectives and find answers to their queries regarding health issues. Hostel warden Ms. Anita kotwal lend her immense support for the smooth and efficient conduction of the activity. Dr. Zenuka Gupta was assisted by pharmacy assistant Mr. Mohd. Akram.
