Women in large numbers should attend PM Modi’s public rally: Sanjita
JAMMU February 17: Jammu and Kashmir BJP Mahila Morcha President, Sanjita Dogra, chaired a meeting of Jammu District Mahila Morcha, which was attended by the three Mandal Presidents and their teams.
The meeting was convened to discuss the upcoming visit of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, to Jammu, and public rally to be held on February 20, at M.A. Stadium, Jammu.
Sanjita Dogra, in the meeting, also reviewed the ongoing Shakti Vandana programmes and stressed on reaching maximum Self-Help Groups and NGOs run by women in Jammu and Kashmir and garner their support for the party.
Sanjita Dogra, while stressing upon the Mahila Morcha teams of the three mandals of the Jammu District to reach every area of their Mandal, contact the women and brief them about the PM’s visit and appeal them to reach the Public rally venue on February 20 in large numbers.
Sanjita Dogra said that the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, has launched a large number of welfare schemes for different sections of the society, with women too getting adequate share for the first time. The women in Jammu and Kashmir have availed the benefit of various schemes, many of them are even the beneficiaries of more than one scheme of the Modi government, she said.
The Mahila Morcha President said that the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, during his public rally, should see massive attendance of women and the Mahila Morcha has to put more efforts to ensure that the women reach M.A. Stadium in large numbers to listen to the Prime Minister. She said that the PM has done a lot for the women and as such, the women too should convey their thankfulness to the Prime Minister through their presence in the public rally.
Mahila Morcha General Secretary Reema Padha, BJP District President Kuldeep Kandhari, Morcha Office Secretary Arti Koul, Chakshu, Meenu, Jyoti Devi, Anuradha Sharma were prominent among those present in the meeting.
