Workshop on Brahmi Sharda &Tibatan/Boudhik Scripts concludes in Department of Sanskrit, University of Jammu

Jammu, Dec 30: Ongoing workshop on Brahmi Sharda &Tibatan/Boudhik Scripts concluded today in the Department of Sanskrit, University of jammu. The chief guest was Prof Manoj Kumar Dhar, Ex Vice Chancellor of Jammu university, Sarasvati Atithi was Prof Ram Pratap Vedalankar Ex Head of Department of Sanskrit , & Ex Dean Faculty of Arts, university of jammu, Prof. Anupama Vohra from the English department, and Convenor, Publication cell Jammu university was Present as Special Guest.

Dr Madhusoodan Pai Project officer from IGNCA, New Delhi,Mrs Neelam Razdan walli from Jammu and Dr Narindar Bharati From Central University, Raiya suchani, jammu & jigmat Chosgyal a Research scholar from Buddhist studies Department, university of Jammu were Online/offline Resource Persons & Prof Vasanta Kumar Bhatt Ahmedabad university Gujarat, & Dr Kirtikant Sharma, Project officer, IGNCA , New Delhi were online Resource persons in this workshop.

Seventy participants from the Department of Sanskrit & Buddhist Studies, Jammu university, cluster university jammu, Kathua college, parade college, Mahanpur college, Majhalata college etc attended this workshop. Prof. Sushma Devi.

Head Department of Sanskrit delivered a welcome address, Dr Umesh Sharma compared this session, Dr Pratibha presented a vote of thanks while Dr Prince Sharma and Dr Kamini Sharma including Dr Umesh were the backbones of this workshop.Dr Suresh Abrol & Mr Ramesh Chandra were also present among all other students, scholars and respected citizens.
