Workshop on NCSS incentives for investors held at Doda
DODA, MAY 30: The District Industries Centre (DIC) Doda, under the guidance of the Director of Industries and Commerce Jammu, on Thursday organized a workshop and interactive session for potential investors in District Doda.
The event focused on the incentives available under the New Central Sector Scheme (NCSS) for the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, 2021, and the J&K Industrial Policy 2021-30. The session was conducted under the supervision of the General Manager of DIC, S Parmjeet Singh.
The primary aim of the program was to educate participants about the registration process and timelines associated with the NCSS scheme. Officers from DIC Doda highlighted the key features and benefits of the scheme, targeting prospective beneficiaries to ensure they were well-informed about the opportunities available to them.
A detailed discussion was held with the investors, addressing the challenges they face in establishing industrial units in District Doda, particularly on private land. The General Manager of DIC Doda assured investors of full support in obtaining necessary clearances from other departments and banks to facilitate the establishment of their units.
Participants expressed gratitude to the government, district administration, and DIC Doda for organizing the awareness program. They appreciated the initiative, which was the first of its kind in the district, aimed at encouraging potential investors to enroll under the NCSS scheme and boosting their confidence to set up more industrial units in District Doda.
