World Environment Day: TLSCs of Handwara, Tangdar conduct Plantation Drive

KUPWARA, JUNE 06: In compliance with the Calendar of Activities – 2024 issued by JK Legal Services Authority, Tehsil Legal Services Committees of Handwara and Tangdhar celebrated World Environment Day and held Plantation Drive.

The programme at Tehsil Legal Services Committee Handwara was conducted under the guidance of Chairperson Tehsil Legal Services Committee Handwara in collaboration with Forest Department, Langate.

At District Court Complex Handwara, Additional District & Sessions Judge Handwara, Umi Qulsom; Chairperson/ CJM Handwara, Vaishaish Kumar Parihar; Munsiff Handwara, Mohd Rafiq Vakil planted some trees within the Court Complex.

The objective of the programme was to create an understanding about the protection and improvement of the environment, promoting sustainable development and for matters connected therewith.

The programme was attended by Judicial Officers, Court Staff, DLSA Staff, Para Legal Volunteers and officials of the Forest Department.

At Tangdhar, the programme was conducted under the guidance of Chairperson Tehsil Legal Services Committee Tangdhar.
