Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger
  • 1 tablespoon gochugaru
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 1-2 green onions

Instructions
 

  • In a medium mixing bowl, combine soy sauce and brown sugar. Stir until the sugar is fully dissolved.
  • Add sesame oil and rice vinegar. Mix well to incorporate all the ingredients.
  • Add minced garlic and grated ginger. Stir until evenly distributed.
  • Season with gochugaru and mix thoroughly.
  • If desired, stir in sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
  • Taste and adjust any ingredients as necessary.
  • Allow the sauce to sit for at least 30 minutes at room temperature or refrigerate for up to a week.
  • Use as a marinade or dipping sauce for grilled meats, vegetables, or tofu.
