Y20 Summit to incorporate ideas of youths in policy proposals: BJYM

JAMMU , 28 April : Y20 India Summit would exemplify the youth-centric efforts and showcase policy measures ideated by the youth.

This was stated by State President BJYM Arun Prabhat ,while speaking in the meeting held at Chinore,Jammu North assembly in Jammu. On the occasion, National Media Incharge & Prabhari Jammu Kashmir BJYM was also present.

The program was organised by District President Jammu North Rajat Manhas.

State President BJYM Arun Prabhat said that Y20 is one of the eight groups under the G20. Every year, the country holding the presidency are responsible of hosting such events weeks prior to understand what the youth think and try to incorporate their suggestion into policy proposals. This aims to create connection between the G20 governments and the local youth, he added.

Singh said that the Y20 India summit in 2023 will provide the India’ with an opportunity to showcase its values and policy measures to the youth across the globe.

“Y20 Summit is a unique opportunity to allow the youth to provide constructive policy inputs and to utilise the platform to voice their opinions for the world audience. The Youth 20 India Summit brings together the trustees of our future generations from across the G20 countries to deliberate, discuss and deduce innovative, sustainable and actionable solutions especially in the realm of social development. At the Y20 Summit, India will not only speak; but also provide an audience to youth from across the world, to be heard in the world’s largest democracy amongst those young leaders geared up with the baton to the future,” he added.

National Media Incharge & Prabhari Jammu Kashmir BJYM Amandeep Singh said that the international summit being held at Leh is going to leave an indelible mark on the hearts and souls of people who believe in India’s core value system of ‘Vasudeva Kutumbakam’ and are following the G20 theme of ‘One Earth, One Family, One Future’.

“Youth-20 summit will enable youth from world over to see our culture, traditions, untapped and unexplored nature, hospitality of the people of Ladakh and will send a strong message to the neighboring countries who had been casting their doubts on India’s resolve to develop the Union Territories of J&K as well as Ladakh,” he added.
