Youth Engagement marks Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra in 4 Panchayats of District Kishtwar
Students participate in Debate contests, present scintillating Cultural program
KISHTWAR, December 16: The ongoing Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra made its impactful presence felt as it extended its journey to Bhata and Sigdi A Panchayats in Mughal Maidan Block of Kishtwar District.
A vibrant participation of about 500 locals marked the event in Bhata panchayat, demonstrating the profound interest and engagement of the public.
SDM Chatroo Shokat Hayat Matoo; Tehsildar Mughalmaidan, Nayeem Sheikh; CDPO Inderwal, Dr. Kuldeep Kumar; BDO Mughalmaidan, Dheeraj Singh, alongside numerous other officials and government functionaries engaged with the people.
The Special IEC Vans equipped with LEDs screened Prime Minister’s messages, The PMAY and Ujjwala beneficiaries shared success stories during “Meri Kahani Meri Zubani,” session, while cultural program “Dharti Kahe Pukar Ke” by students filled the atmosphere with patriotic spirit .
The students actively participated in debate and presented cultural performances aligning with the essence of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra. Their enthusiastic engagement showcased talent, creativity, and a deep understanding of the yatra’s objectives, fostering a spirit of empowerment and awareness among the younger generation.
The departments provided on-spot services, including the saturation of citizen-centric schemes, distribution of Golden Cards, KCC, and biometric enrollment under the PM Ujjwala Scheme.
In his address, the SDM Chatroo highlighted the yatra’s vision of spreading awareness, reaching the unreached, and facilitating the utilization of welfare schemes for the socio-economic upliftment of the underprivileged.
Commending the collective efforts of the district administration and locals, he emphasized the transformative impact of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra in fostering development and promoting engagement with government schemes.
The attendees hailed the initiative of the government aimed at empowering communities, enhancing awareness, and enabling direct access to vital government services.
