Zayed Khan and Malaika Parekh Reveal Untold Love Story on “Couple of Things” Podcast with Amrita Rao and RJ Anmol

In a heartwarming episode of the popular YouTube podcast “Couple of Things”, hosted by the the lovely couple actress Amrita Rao and renowned radio jockey RJ Anmol, Bollywood actor Zayed Khan and his wife Malaika Parekh opened up about their deeply personal and previously untold love story. The video, now live on YouTube, offers fans a rare glimpse into their relationship, sharing stories they have never revealed before.

Zayed Khan, best known for his roles in films like “Main Hoon Na”, spoke candidly about how he first met Malaika while they were still in school.

He collected when for the first time, he met Malaika but she had turned her back on him, literally speaking.

“I saw her from behind. I told my friend Anthony, ‘Who is this girl?’ I hope when she turns around she is as beautiful as she seems from behind. And she turned. She was looking otherwordly beautiful. As she turned, I fell in love,” he reminisced. From there, the conversation flowed into the unknown chapters of their relationship, including their secret “unofficial” wedding in Goa.

One of the highlights of the podcast was Zayed revealing that he and Malaika secretly got married at the Taj Goa before their official ceremony took place. In a spontaneous and intimate moment, the couple performed the traditional seven pheras, symbolising their lifelong commitment to each other. Their formal wedding followed a few days later, on November 20, 2005.

The couple also shared stories about how their relationship transitioned into a long-distance one when Zayed went to study business in Maryland, USA. Despite the distance, their love remained strong, and their connection deepened over time.
